Recession - The Bible's Solution

Are you worried about the lack of money in your pocket? Well, we can't offer you money, but we can share with you our hope of a future without all these worries. As Bible readers, this is far more precious to us than all the treasures in the world.

Our special Bible talk will look at the depths of the financial crisis which has hit the UK and explore the guidance given by God for us in these situations.

We want you to see that even when things look so bleak on the money markets the Bible offers a security which leads to peace of mind. There is a hope of the return of Jesus Christ to the earth and the setting up of a perfect Kingdom where peace, justice, financial security will be the order of the day. There will be none of the worries and stresses we have today.

Why not come and see the evidence put before you for these things and make up your mind for yourself whether they are just fanciful or the truth.

Look at these Promises recorded for us in the Bible:

"The mountains will bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He will bring justice to the poor of the people; he will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor." (Psalm 72:3,4)

"God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:4,5)
